Ludgate Street Temporary Closure Order

Staffordshire County Council
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
Road Trafic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an order, the effect of which shall be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding that length of Ludgate Street, Tutbury, from its junction with Burton Street for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a southerly direction unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works. Limited access will be available from either end of the site to premises on the length of the road.

The preferred alternative route for traffic will be available via Burton Street, Ironwalls Lane, Ludgate Street and vice versa.

The order will come into operation on 8 March 2008, and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by the same day.

The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the removal of cabins works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road, have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

In the unlikely event that the works are not completed within eighteen months, the order may be extended for a further period by the Secretary of State.

Rehearsal & Workshop Space for artistic productions

ODDSOCKS PRODUCTIONS are planning to relocate their operations to Derby City and have been looking at potential space at Mason's Place, Nottingham Road. They have the potential to develop a facility containing Offices, Rehearsal and Workshop space for artistic production which would have more capacity than they currently require.

ODDSOCKS would welcome expressions of interest from organisations which might require space for certain months of the year to develop their own productions.
