Staffordshire County Council Youth Services would like to sell Tutbury’s old school, located in Cornmill Lane and use the proceeds from the sale to improve other youth services within the county. |

The disposal of the building would leave Tutbury Youth Club, Pre-School Group and Tutbury & Hatton Scout Group without a place to meet. |
|
On July 1st 2008, a new organisation was formed: TOSCA - Tutbury Old School Community Association, created with the express aim of retaining the old school building in Cornmill Lane as a community facility. |
