Tutbury Band’s Highland Christmas Concert is no longer just a pipe dream… |
Following on from their recent sell out concerts in the Scottish Highland town of Strathpeffer, Tutbury Band did a wee jig of delight when they discovered that Ashbourne Pipe Band would be able to join them for their annual Christmas Concert, this year entitled: |

Tutbury Band is a voluntarily run community wind band with over 150 members (with an age range of 8 to 80), from East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire. As well as the main concert band, Tutbury Band has a Junior Band for developing players and a Training Band for absolute beginners. Formed in 1980, Tutbury Band aims to provide musical development and enjoyment for its members and a high standard of entertainment for our audiences. |

Ashbourne Pipe Band were formed in 1977 and have won several competitions. They are perhaps most famous for performing at Ashbourne’s Highland Gathering which takes place every Summer. |

Please visit Tutbury Band. We rehearse every Saturday morning 10am – 12pm at Rolleston Scout HQ, Station Road, Rolleston, and every Wednesday evening 6:30pm – 8:15pm at Richard Wakefield School Tutbury. Players can be made available for interview/photos etc during these times. Or we can be available at other times if pre-arranged. |
