Visit to Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham - 29 September 2007

We have arranged for a visit to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham on Sat 29 September.

The visit will be in two parts. From 10:00 till 12:00 noon we will have a guided tour of the quarter with Ian Jelf who is a Tourist Registered Guide. We will then have an hour for refreshments before going on to the museum in the Jewellery Quarter. At the museum we will spend approximately half an hour touring the gallery, before going to the old factory for approximately another hour.

Jewellery has been made in Birmingham for many years and this is an opportunity to discover more about the origins and history of the trade and to follow its development to the present day.

We will be using our own vehicles to get to the Jewellery Quarter and we will park in the Vyse Street Car Park. Our guide will meet us there.

Costs are as follows:

£8:00 Per Person - based on a booking of 20 or more
