What a facility might look like

A leading manufacturer, produlic, has done a mock up of a facility for us, to show the size and type of equipment that could be installed. In the facility are dynamic play equipment such as aeroskate, rodeo board, and aero speed. This type of equipment is aimed at older children and teenagers and improves their flexibility, strength, and overall fitness. Alongside the dynamic play area is a small skate area with a grind rail and fun box. At the top of the skate area is a shelter.

The area for dynamic play on this plan is a maximum of 14m by 30m. The surfacing would be the matta type, which lets grass grow through it - similar to the surfacing at the Tutbury Mill play area.

The skate area shelter would cover an area of 7m by 22m and would be tarmaced.
